AUTHOR RESOURCES, OPTIONS AND MARKETPLACE

NOTE:  This page is still under construction and could change at any time.  Both questionnaires are in formative stage, consisting of broad ideas that will need to be fleshed out.

SEARCH FOR A SERVICE PROVIDER – SOMEONE TO HELP YOU WITH SOMETHING.
Many of the mentor teachers and domain supervisors provide services to other authors as well as to fellow teachers and school districts.  Many will provide on-site professional development focused on using concept structures and the Curriculum Library for curriculum development, alignment, K-12 coordination, documentation, and/or assessment.  Others are adept at providing graphics, formatting and image help to on-line authors.  Some provide translation services so that your lesson can be offered in more than one language.  Others provide continuous on-line mentoring for new teachers.

Please fill in the information in the chart below and we will cross-reference it with our database of service providers.   We will give you a list of possible providers along with their contact information.  You may then make independent arrangements with them.

BECOME A SERVICE PROVIDER – HELP YOUR FELLOW EDUCATORS
We encourage all of our mentor teachers and domain supervisors to offer their service in helping other educators and school districts improve student learning.  You may offer a wide variety of services – anything that would help you as a teacher-author and as a practicing teacher or supervisor. For example you may want to offer on-site professional development focused on using concept structures and the Curriculum Library for curriculum development, alignment, K-12 coordination, documentation, and/or assessment.  You may be adept at providing graphics, formatting and image help to other on-line authors.  Translation services would be helpful, so that lessons can be offered in more than one language.  There is increasing demand for on-line mentoring of new teachers.

Domain supervisors can help you with the negotiating, travel and financial arrangements if you provide on-site professional development.  Or they can help you with possible fee schedules if you provide on-line services to authors.  There might well be other questions that arise as this service expands.  The domain supervisors are given responsibility for managing this side of The Curriculum Library.

Fill in the information in the following chart and you will be entered into the database of service providers.
